CIP For RPLC Deep Conversion Project In Venezuela Puerto La Cruz Refinery is owned and operated by Petroleos de Venezuela SA (PDVSA) and located 300km east of Caracas in the state of Anzoátegui, Venezuela, the country with the world's most reserves of crude oil. The goal of this project is to install oil and gas equipments in order to facilitate the conversion of heavy and extra heavy crude oil into high quality refined fuel products. Geographically, this plant covers three operational areas: Puerto La Cruz, El Chaure and San Roque, located in the north and center of the state of Anzoategui, with total crude processing capacity of 200,000 barrels per day, which are obtained 73,000 barrels of gasoline and naphtha, 12,000 barrels of kerosene-jet, 43 thousand barrels of oil and 73 barrels of waste, and required inputs for mixing fuels marketed in the domestic and export markets. HYUNDAI group won the contracts to install piping and equipments in this project. KOVIS E&C awarded the Chemical Injection Packages (CIP) for RPLC Deep Conversion Project. Contractor: KOLON e ENGINEERING/ Hyundai Eng. Quantity: Fifteen (15) packages. Time for completing the project is 2 years (from 2014 to the end of the year 2015).
